The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Sunday that the hockey club has trimmed their training camp roster by 24 players. The Maple Leafs now have 49 players (28 forwards, 17 defencemen and four goaltenders) remaining in camp and will be back on the ice for practice tomorrow at MasterCard Centre in split groups beginning at 10 a.m.

The following seven players have been reassigned to their CHL teams: Cole Coskey (Saginaw), Marc-Olivier Duquette (Drummondville), Fedor Gordeev (Flint), Nicolas Mattinen (London), Ryan McGregor (Sarnia), Eemeli Rasanen (Kingston) and Ian Scott (Prince Albert).
The following 17 players have been reassigned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL): Vladimir Bobylev, Jeremy Bracco, Adam Brooks, Matias Cleland, Rich Clune, Jean Dupuy, Martins Dzierkals, Alex Gudbranson, Cal Heeter, Sam Jardine, Jeff King, Nikita Korostelev, Max Novak, J.J. Piccinich, Kristian Pospisil, Joshua Winquist and Nolan Valleau.
The Maple Leafs open their preseason schedule on September 18 when they travel to Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ont. for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Ottawa Senators.
