Forward Peter Holland signed a one-year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. Financial terms were not released, but Sportsnet reported it's worth $1.3 million.

Holland, 25, was a restricted free agent scheduled for an arbitration hearing in Toronto on Monday. He had nine goals, 18 assists and an NHL career-high 27 points in 65 games last season. He also had five power-play goals and 11 power-play points, and tied his career high with three points (three assists) in a 5-1 win against the Colorado Avalanche on Nov. 17.
Chosen by the Anaheim Ducks with the 15th pick of the 2009 NHL Draft, Holland has 30 goals, 69 points and 83 penalty minutes in 195 regular-season games with the Ducks and Maple Leafs.
The Maple Leafs also signed defenseman Frank Corrado to a one-year contract Monday, avoiding an arbitration hearing scheduled for Tuesday. Defenseman Martin Marincin is the last of Toronto's restricted free agents and is scheduled for a hearing on Aug. 2.
