The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Michael Bunting to a two-year contract. The average annual value of the contract is worth $950,000.

Last season, Bunting scored 10 goals and added three assists in 21 games with the Arizona Coyotes while posting 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 16 American Hockey League games with the Tucson Roadrunners. The Scarborough, Ontario native also won a gold medal with Canada at the 2021 IIHF World Championship. He has collected 14 points in 26 career NHL games and 205 points in 323 career AHL games.
Bunting, 25, was selected by Arizona in the fourth round (117th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.
