The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Max Domi to a one-year contract. The average annual value of the contract is $3 million.

Domi, 28, has registered 370 points (121 goals, 249 assists) in 581 regular season games over the course of his eight-year NHL career with Arizona, Montreal, Columbus, Carolina, Chicago and Dallas. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native has posted six goals and 16 assists in 43 career playoff games.

Last season, Domi recorded 49 points (18 goals, 31 assists) with the Blackhawks before he was dealt to Dallas on March 3, 2023. He collected seven points (two goals, five assists) in 20 regular season games with the Stars before adding 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in 19 Stanley Cup playoff contests.

Internationally, Domi helped Canada capture gold medals at the 2016 IIHF World Championship and 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Domi was originally selected by the Coyotes in the first round (12th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
