The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has acquired defencemen Cody Ceci and Ben Harpur, forward Aaron Luchuk and Columbus' third-round selection in the 2020 NHL Draft from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for defenceman Nikita Zaitsev and forwards Connor Brown and Michael Carcone.

Ceci, 25, registered 26 points (seven goals, 19 assists) in 74 games with the Senators last season. In 440 NHL regular season games over six seasons, the Ottawa, Ontario native has collected 118 points (32 goals, 86 assists) while recording three assists in 25 career playoff games. He was selected by Ottawa with the 15th overall pick in the 2012 NHL Draft.
Harpur, 24, scored one goal and added four assists in 51 games with Ottawa in 2018-19. The Hamilton, Ontario native has collected seven points (one goal, six assists) in 103 regular season NHL games while registering 44 points (six goals, 38 assists) in 129 American Hockey League games. He was selected by the Senators in the fourth round (108th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
Luchuk, 22, split the 2018-19 season between the AHL's Belleville Senators and the ECHL's Brampton Beast. The Kingston, Ontario native collected nine points (four goals, five assists) in 27 games with Belleville and 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) in 32 games with Brampton. Luchuk signed an entry-level contract with the Senators on December 26, 2017.
