Maple Leafs Select Training Camp Location

"(July 29, 2005) -- John Ferguson, general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Friday that the city of Toronto, Ontario will be the site of the team's 2005 training camp.


The club intends to conduct their on-ice and off-ice training sessions at Ricoh Coliseum, home of the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

The Maple Leafs will play eight preseason games, four at home, three on the road and one neutral site game. Toronto opens their preseason schedule on Sunday, September 18 versus Ottawa at Air Canada Centre. The Maple Leafs will host a preseason game in Hamilton, as Toronto hosts Northeast Division rival Boston at Copps Coliseum on Tuesday, September 20.

All preseason games will be broadcast live on Leafs TV.
