Maple Leafs Reduce Training Camp Roster

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Sunday that the hockey club has reduced its’ training camp roster by 14 players. Toronto’s current training camp roster (listed below) now stands at 29 players (17 forwards, nine defencemen, and three goaltenders).

Forwards Luca Caputi, Joe Colborne, Jerry D’Amigo, Ryan Hamilton, Marcel Mueller, Kenny Ryan, Greg Scott and Mike Zigomanis, as well as defencemen Jesse Blacker, Jeff Finger, Simon Gysbers, Korbinian Holzer, Juraj Mikus, and goaltender Mark Owuya have all been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

The Maple Leafs also previously assigned forward Greg McKegg to the Erie Otters (OHL) and goaltender Jussi Rynnas to the Marlies on Thursday, September 22.
