The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the club has recalled goaltender Eamon McAdam from the Newfoundland Growlers (ECHL) on an emergency basis. Frederik Andersen is listed as day-to-day with a knee injury.

McAdam, 24, is 1-0-0 in one appearance with the Growlers this season, while posting a 2.00 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage. He split his 2017-18 season between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL) and the Worcester Railers (ECHL). In nine regular season appearances with Bridgeport, he posted a 5-2-0 record alongside a 2.77 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage. He had a 13-10-6 record in 29 regular season games with Worcester, recording a 2.84 goals-against average with a .910 save percentage before going 1-3 with a 2.01 goals-against average and .934 save percentage in four playoff games.
McAdam was originally acquired by the Maple Leafs in a trade with the New York Islanders on July 3, 2018.
