Maple Leafs Make Roster Moves

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday that seven players have been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. Forwards Bates Battaglia, Andre Deveaux, Alex Foster, Kris Newbury, Ben Ondrus, and defencemen Josef Boumedienne and Jaime Sifers have all been assigned to the Maple Leafs’ primary affiliate.

In addition, the Maple Leafs have recalled forward Kyle Rogers from the Marlies and returned centreman Chris DiDomenico (DEE-DOH-menacoh) to the QMJHL’s Saint John Sea Dogs.

The Marlies begin their fourth season in Toronto when they host the Binghamton Senators (AHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators) on Friday, October 10 at Ricoh Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. For ticket information, including season ticket packages and priority seating, visit or call the team’s ticket line at 416-597-PUCK.
