The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday that the team has loaned forward Mark Arcobello
as well as goaltenders Antoine Bibeau
and Garret Sparks
to the Toronto Marlies (AHL).
Arcobello, 27, skated in 11 games with the Maple Leafs this season while also collecting 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) in 24 games with the Marlies.
Bibeau, 21, has played in 16 games with the Marlies this season, owning an 11-4-0 record with a 3.11 goals against average and a .891 save percentage.
Sparks, 22, posted a 3-1-0 record with a 2.58 goals against average and a .915 save percentage in five games with the Leafs, including a 24-save shutout in his NHL debut against the Edmonton Oilers on November 30. In 11 games with the Marlies this season, Sparks owns an 8-2-0 record with a 1.90 goals against average and a .938 save percentage.
The Maple Leafs and Marlies both return to the ice on Wednesday, when the Leafs host the Columbus Blue Jackets at Air Canada Centre at 7 p.m while the Marlies travel to Utica to face the Comets.
