Maple Leafs announce 2002-03 preseason schedule

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced their 2002-03 preseason schedule Tuesday, featuring home games versus three divisional rivals in the Montreal Canadiens, the Ottawa Senators and the Buffalo Sabres.


The Maple Leafs will play nine preseason games, four at Toronto's Air Canada Centre, four on the road and one neutral site game.

The Leafs open their preseason schedule on Friday, September 20 in Ottawa against the Senators.

For the ninth consecutive season, the Maple Leafs host a preseason game in Hamilton, as Toronto will play the Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings at Copps Coliseum on Saturday, September 28.
