Maple Leafs acquire Lindstrom and conditional pick from Blues

David Nonis, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Monday that the club has acquired forward Joakim Lindstrom and a conditional sixth round draft pick (2016) from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Olli Jokinen.

Lindstrom, 31, has skated in 34 regular season games with the Blues this season, collecting six points (three goals, three assists) and eight penalty minutes. The Skelleftea, Sweden native has registered 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists) in 131 career NHL regular season games with Columbus, Arizona, Colorado and St. Louis.

The Maple Leafs return to the ice tomorrow night when they travel to Florida for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Panthers.
