The Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has acquired a conditional seventh-round draft pick in the 2020 NHL Draft from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for the rights to forward Nolan Vesey.

Vesey, 23, skated in 37 games for the University of Maine Black Bears (NCAA) during the 2017-18 season and registered 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points. In 145 career games over four seasons with Maine, he recorded 82 points (39 goals, 43 assists) and 130 penalty minutes.
Vesey was originally selected by the Maple Leafs in the sixth round (158th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.
