The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has acquired defenceman Conor Timmins from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for forward Curtis Douglas.

Timmins, 24, has recorded three assists through six games with the Tucson Roadrunners this season and also skated in two games with the Arizona Coyotes. The Thorold, ON native has posted 34 points (4G, 30A) through 52 career AHL games split between Tucson and the Colorado Eagles. Timmins has also recorded seven assists through 41 career NHL games split between Arizona and Colorado Avalanche.
Internationally, Timmins won a gold medal with Team Canada during the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship. He recorded five points (1G, 4A) through seven games during the tournament and was named a Top 3 Player on the Team.
Timmins was selected by Colorado in the second round (32nd overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.
