For the second straight month, a Maple Leaf has been named one of the NHL's Three Stars. Joffrey Lupul
was the third star for November after recording 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 14 games. The Leafs winger had at least one point in 12 of the 14 games in November.
Lupul is second in the NHL in scoring with 30 points, two behind teammate Phil Kessel
for the NHL lead. He also sits seventh in goals (12) and third in assists (18).
His month started with a hat trick against the Devils on November 2 and culminated with a seven-game point-scoring streak to end the month recording 11 points over those seven games. It was his first hat trick with the Leafs and first since 2007. He had a season-high four points against Washington on November 19th.
"I have a lot of confidence right now," Lupul told NHL.com. "I could tell right from training camp that I felt pretty good, I was confident with my game, I was confident with the way my body felt for the first time in a long time. I didn't expect this type of start but I expected myself to play well."
