Leafs Recall Rich Clune From Toronto Marlies

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Thursday that the hockey club has recalled forward Rich Clune from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Clune, 28, has skated in two regular season games with the Maple Leafs this season. The Toronto, Ontario native has also appeared in 29 regular season games with the Toronto Marlies, collecting 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) and 102 penalty minutes. Clune was originally drafted in the third round (71st overall) by the Dallas Stars during the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

The Maple Leafs return to the ice on Friday when they host the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m.
