The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Sunday that right-winger Paul Healey has been recalled from the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League on an emergency basis.
Healey, 27, has played 57 games with St. John's this season and has 55 points (26 goals, 29 assists) with 30 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in 11 games with Toronto and has four points (one goal, three assists). Healey registered his first NHL goal March 4 at Washington. The native of Edmonton, Alberta has played 17 career NHL games with Philadelphia and Toronto and has four points with 16 minutes in penalties.
Mikael Renberg (hamstring strain) and Robert Reichel (back spasms) are both sidelined with injuries.
