Leafs Recall Gamache and Stralman

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Wednesday that forward Simon Gamache and defenceman Anton Stralman have been recalled from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Gamache and Stralman each played in the Toronto Marlies home opener on October 6 against Rochester.  Gamache picked up an assist, while Stralman registered two penalty minutes in the Marlies’ 4-1 victory.

During the preseason, Gamache played in four games for the Maple Leafs collecting two assists and two penalty minutes, and Stralman played in four games going scoreless.

Now in their third season as the Maple Leafs’ primary affiliate, the Marlies are one of 29 teams competing in the American Hockey League’s 72nd season.  For ticket information to the Marlies’ next home game at Ricoh Coliseum at Exhibition Place, call 416-597-PUCK.
