Leafs Reassign Petter Granberg

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Sunday that the club has reassigned defenceman Petter Granberg to the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Granberg, 22, has been held pointless in three regular season games with the Maple Leafs this season. The Gallivare, Sweden native has played 29 regular season games with the Toronto Marlies, collecting seven points (one goal, six assists) and 18 penalty minutes.

The Marlies return to the ice this afternoon when they travel to the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa for a 3 p.m. game against the Binghamton Senators. The Maple Leafs will host the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night at Air Canada Centre.
