The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Wednesday that they have re-assigned forward Clarke Wilm to the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League.

Wilm, 27, was recalled by Toronto on December 27 but did not see action. He has played 26 games for St. John's this season collecting 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) with 44 penalty minutes.

The native of Central Butte, Saskatchewan has played 385 career NHL games for Calgary and Nashville collecting 89 points (36 goals, 53 assists) with 286 penalty minutes.

Wilm was signed by Toronto as an unrestricted free agent on October 28, 2003. He was originally Calgary's fifth choice, 150th overall in the 1995 Entry Draft.
