The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Thursday that defenceman Marc Moro has been re-assigned to the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League.
Moro, 24, appeared in two games for Toronto and was held pointless with two penalty minutes. He led the Maple Leafs with six hits March 6 at Detroit. The native of Toronto, Ontario has also played 41 games for the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) and 13 games for the Nashville Predators this season.
He was acquired March 1, 2002 by Toronto from Nashville in exchange for D.J. Smith and Marty Wilford. Moro has appeared in 30 career NHL games and has no points with 75 minutes in penalties.
