The Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies will open Ricoh Coliseum during March Break for free public skating. Skating enthusiasts and hockey fans can enjoy the same ice that the professional hockey players skate on during the following dates and times:
- Monday, March 10 from 1 to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, March 13 from 2 to 9 p.m.
- Friday, March 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Participants must bring their own skates and enter Ricoh Coliseum through the main entrance. CSA approved helmets are mandatory for children 12 years and under. A maximum of 250 skaters will be allowed on the ice at any given time.
Ricoh Coliseum, located on the Grounds of Exhibition Place, is the home of the Marlies, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Maple Leafs. The venue is easily accessible by public transportation and is close to all major arteries.
The North Division leading Toronto Marlies will have a busy March Break hosting four home games between March 8 and 15. Marlies fans can look forward to Leafs Alumni Bobblehead Night on Saturday, March 15.
