Leafs Go With Same Line Up Against Penguins

by Staff Writer / Toronto Maple Leafs

Jonathan Bernier
gets the nod in goal for the Maple Leafs tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins. While it’s a small sample size (three games), Bernier has never registered a win against Pittsburgh. Thomas Greiss will counter for Pittsburgh. With 71 career games under his belt, this will be Greiss’s first ever start against Toronto.

The Leafs lineup is expected to remain unchanged.

While the offence has been rolling for the Maple Leafs as of late, Nazem Kadri has been noticeably absent from the score sheet.

“I’m getting the opportunities, I’m just hoping my luck will turn,” Kadri said.

Outside of scoring, Kadri has become a better two-way player. Winning nine out of ten faceoffs against the Bruins on Wednesday was a big step forward.
