Leafs Assign Scrivens To Marlies

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Saturday afternoon that goaltender Ben Scrivens has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL). Scrivens posted a record of 2-4-1 with a 2.96 goals against average in eight appearances with the Maple Leafs. He made his NHL debut and was First Star in the win November 3 at Columbus. He was recalled from the Marlies on October 27. He has fashioned a 4-1-0 record with the Marlies this season with a 2.41 goals against average.
