The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Wednesday the hockey club’s 2015 training camp roster. The Leafs have invited 73 players to training camp, including 42 forwards, 24 defencemen and seven goaltenders. The entire training camp roster is below.
The Leafs will open training camp at the MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence in Etobicoke, beginning with player physicals at 8 a.m. on Thursday, September 17. Player interviews will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. The club will hold a 10 a.m. press conference with Head Coach Mike Babcock in the D.K. (Doc) Seaman Hockey Resource Centre.
The first on-ice activities of training camp commence on Friday, September 18 at BMO Centre in Bedford, Nova Scotia. On-ice sessions will run from approximately 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There will be 400 tickets allotted for each day and sales will take place each day starting at 8:30 a.m. at the BMO Centre. Tickets can only be purchased that morning for the day’s session and each patron will only be able to purchase two (2) tickets. Ticket prices are a minimum of $5.00 donation per ticket (CASH ONLY) with all proceeds going to KidSport Nova Scotia, a program of Sport Nova Scotia which has long been a charitable partner of MLSE Foundation and the Leafs.
The Maple Leafs will open the preseason with a pair of split-squad games against the Ottawa Senators on Monday, September 21. Full season media credentials from last season are valid for 2015 preseason games.
