The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced their television carriers for the 2008-09 season, and Rogers Sportsnet headlines the coverage with 28 broadcasts during the 82-game season. The balance of the broadcast schedule includes 24 games on CBC, 17 on TSN, and 13 on Leafs TV. Rogers Sportsnet, TSN and Leafs TV will each broadcast at least one of the Leafs nine preseason games. The preseason and regular season broadcast schedule will be announced prior to the start of the preseason.
Rogers Sportsnet, the Official Team Broadcaster of the Leafs, begins its coverage with the September 22 preseason game pitting the Leafs against the Buffalo Sabres at Air Canada Centre. Called the Coca-Cola Zero Fans First Game, all tickets to that game are being given away free to fans through a series of promotions. Get more information
