The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday the club's 2014-15 regular season broadcast schedule. All Maple Leafs' games will be televised live on Sportsnet and Rogers affiliates (56 games), and TSN (26 games), while Sportsnet 590 The FAN and TSN Radio 1050 Toronto will once again divide the games evenly between the two radio networks.
"We are committed to providing more content and more ways to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs, and we can't wait for puck drop on October 8th to offer Leafs fans at home or on the go with one of the best seats in the house this season," said Scott Moore, President of NHL & Sportsnet, Rogers.
"We've increased our Leafs package to 26 games this season and we're thrilled to have an expanded presence in one of the league's biggest markets," said Stewart Johnston, President of TSN. "We're proud to deliver more Leafs games featuring James Duthie and our all-star team of Hockey Insiders than ever before."
Calling the action for all games on both Sportsnet 590 The FAN and TSN Radio 1050 Toronto are the legendary duo of play-by-play commentator Joe Bowen and long-time Leafs radio analyst Jim Ralph.
Leafs TV and mapleleafs.com will continue to produce the following content: Leafs Today on non-game days, the Blue and White weekly summary show, game day skate shows, game highlights and post-game shows. Paul Hendrick will also continue to serve as a host on all Leafs TV and mapleleafs.com platforms.
The Leafs season opener against Montreal on October 8 will be televised nationally by Sportsnet and listeners can catch the game on Sportsnet 590 The FAN. TSN's package of 26 games will air on TSN4 which is part of TSN's new expanded lineup of five national feeds.
