| The Leafs are giving Pushor a tryout, looking to bolster their defensive corps.
(Sept. 11, 2003) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Thursday that the team has added defenceman Jamie Pushor to their Kitchener training camp roster on a pro try-out agreement.
Pushor played 76 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins last season, recording four points with three goals and one assist.
The native of Lethbridge, Alberta has played a total of 503 career NHL games with Detroit, Anaheim, Dallas, Columbus and Pittsburgh, posting totals of 57 points on 13 goals and 44 assists with 646 minutes in penalties.
Pushor, 30, enters his eleventh professional season in 2003-04 and was a member of Detroit's 1997 Stanley Cup championship team.
