The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Wednesday that the club has acquired forward Eric Fehr, defenceman Steven Oleksy and a fourth-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for defenceman Frank Corrado.

Fehr, 31, has appeared in 52 games with the Penguins in 2016-17, registering 11 points (six goals, five assists) and 14 penalty minutes. The Winkler, Manitoba native has appeared in 561 NHL games, collecting 202 points (103 goals, 99 assists) and 185 penalty minutes. Fehr has also appeared in 60 NHL postseason games between the Washington Capitals and Penguins, registering 10 points (eight goals, two assists). Fehr captured the Stanley Cup in 2016 as a member of the Penguins.

Oleksy, 31, has appeared in 11 games with the Penguins this season, recording one assist and 24 penalty minutes. A native of Chesterfield, Michigan, Oleksy has appeared in 73 career NHL games between Washington and Pittsburgh, registering 20 points (three goals, 17 assists) and 110 penalty minutes. He also appeared in seven career NHL playoff games in 2012-13, registering one point with Washington. Oleksy will be loaned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Corrado, 23, appeared in two games with the Maple Leafs this season. The Toronto native has also skated in 18 games for the Toronto Marlies (AHL), registering 12 points (1 goal, 11 assists) and 14 penalty minutes in 18 games.

The Maple Leafs continue a three-game road trip in Los Angeles on March 2 at 10:30 p.m. (ET).
