Kozun Activated Off Injured Reserve

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Saturday that forward Brandon Kozun has been activated from the injured reserve list while defenceman Roman Polak has been placed on injured reserve.

Kozun, 24, has skated in five regular season games with the Maple Leafs this season collecting one assist. During his conditioning stint with the Marlies, Kozun collected one goal and four penalty minutes while playing three games. The Los Angeles, California native suffered a high ankle sprain in a game against the Detroit Red Wings on October 17.

Polak, 28, suffered a knee injury in a game against the Detroit Red Wings on November 22. In 21 regular season games this season, Polak has collected five points (three goals, two assists) and 10 penalty minutes.

The Maple Leafs return to the ice tonight when they host the Vancouver Canucks at 7 p.m.
