The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Sunday that forward Mikhail Grabovski sustained a fractured wrist during the first period of last night’s game in Calgary. He is expected to be out of the lineup for an estimated six weeks. Also, forward Wayne Primeau suffered a knee injury during the third period yesterday and he will be out of the lineup from two to four weeks.
Grabovski is currently tied for fifth in team scoring with 25 points (7g, 18a) while appearing in all 42 Maple Leafs’ games this season. He did not miss a game due to injury in 2008-09 with Toronto. Primeau has two goals and three assists in 35 games with Toronto this season while posting a ‘plus one’ rating.
The Maple Leafs will host the Florida Panthers at Air Canada Centre Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
