Clemmensen Assigned To Marlies

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Thursday that goaltender Scott Clemmensen has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Clemmensen appeared in three games for the Maple Leafs, registering one win and one loss, a 3.90 goals against average and a .839 save percentage.  Clemmensen won his first Maple Leafs game in his first start, as he made 30 saves in a 4-3 shootout victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning at Air Canada Centre on January 1.

In 15 AHL games with the Marlies this season, Clemmensen has posted a record of 11 wins and four losses with a 2.60 goals against average and a .905 save percentage.  The Marlies currently lead the AHL’s North Division with 54 points on a record of 25-6-0-4.
