Aulie Recalled, Gunnarsson On IR

Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Tuesday that the hockey club has recalled defenceman Keith Aulie from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. The Maple Leafs also announced that defenceman Carl Gunnarsson has been placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury and will miss a minimum of seven days.

Aulie, 22, has collected one assist and 16 penalty minutes in 15 games with the Maple Leafs this season. The 6-6, 217-pound native of Rouleau, Saskatchewan, has also appeared in 20 games with the Marlies in 2011-12, registering one assist and 28 penalty minutes.
