(October 14, 2004) -- The Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club is calling out to all patriotic singing enthusiasts.

The hockey club announced Thursday that Maple Leaf Anthem Auditions will be held at Air Canada Centre on October 23 and 24.

The open call auditions will be held on a first-come, first-served basis with registration beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 12 p.m. on October 23. Auditions start at 10 a.m. and continue throughout the day. The first 500 people will be guaranteed an audition on Saturday, October 23. Auditions on Sunday, October 24 will take place again on a first-come, first-served basis after the first 500 have been secured on the first day. A wristband policy will be in effect.

No professional singing experience is required and auditions are open to all ages and backgrounds. Groups of up to five people may attend and auditioners must bring a current photo and resume. Auditioners will be required to sing both O Canada and The Star Spangled Banner.

October 23 and 24 are the only two days to capitalize on this exciting opportunity.
