Air Canada Centre to Host Second Free Skate

(November 19, 2004)-- The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Friday that Air Canada Centre will be open for public skating Thursday, November 25. Admission is free of charge.

Participants are encouraged to arrive early to ensure a chance to skate. The event will be segmented into 45-minute skating sessions beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the last skating segment beginning at 8 p.m.

A maximum of 250 individuals will be on the ice at any one time. A wristband, designating only the next available skating session time, will be distributed upon entry. One wristband per person will be granted and wristbands indicating a time for a later session will not be issued. Skaters are requested to enter the arena through Gate 1 (located inside the main concourse, between the York St. and Bay St. entrances). The arena will open at 8:30 a.m. for registration.

The event is being co-presented by 640 Toronto-The New Mojo Radio.
