AHL Leafs Play At Air Canada Centre

(October 8,2004) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Thursday that its American Hockey League (AHL) team the St. John's Maple Leafs will play two of its home games in Toronto December 1 and 3, 2004.

The AHL Leafs will face off against the Binghamton Senators, Ottawa Senators' AHL franchise. Both games will be played at Air Canada Centre.
 
"We're very pleased to bring these two AHL Leafs games to Toronto," said Bob Hunter, executive vice-president and general manager of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. "It's a great way for fans to experience the AHL Leafs and AHL which is a unique, exciting and engaging brand of professional hockey."

Both games serve as a preview of Leafs AHL hockey for fans in the Greater Toronto Area.

The AHL Leafs will relocate to Toronto at the start of the 2005-06 season.
