Scott Oke describes himself as a James van Riemsdyk-type player. A third round choice in the QMJHL entry draft, Oke is putting the components of his game together.

It has been a while coming.

“I started to skate when I was two years old,” he said. “We had an outdoor rink.”

Blessed with great size, Oke must put together the finesse elements of his game while he grows into his own body.

He can’t wait for the NHL draft.

“It will be great to see where I am situated with the other players. I am anxious to see what will happen. This is a once-in a lifetime experience and I am looking forward to it.”
