What to Watch For: Lightning vs. Islanders

The Bolts will face the New York Islanders tonight as they look to wrap up their short homestand with a win. This will be the third and final meeting versus the Islanders with both matchups decided by a shootout. Puck drops at 7:30 pm at the Tampa Bay Times Forum and you can follow all of the action on Sun Sports.

Here are four storylines to watch in tonight's matchup:

  1. With a 5-1-4 record in its last 10 contests, the Lightning are riding a nine-game streak with at least one point.
  2. Victor Hedman comes into tonight's game having tallied two goals and 19 assists over his past 22 games.
  3. Ondrej Palat has now recorded five multi-point games over his past nine contests.
  4. The Tampa Bay Lightning have scored at least one power play goal in five consecutive games.
