What to Watch For: Lightning vs. Flames

The Lightning continue their six-game homestand tonight as they face the Calgary Flames for the second and final time this season. The last time these two teams met, the Bolts shut out the Flames, 2-0. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at the Tampa Bay Times Forum and you can follow all of the action on Sun Sports.

Here are four additional storylines to follow heading into tonight's matchup:

  1. The Lightning's win last game extended their home point streak to eight games and overall the Bolts have picked up points in 12 of their last 13 games.
  2. Ondrej Palat enters tonight's game leading all rookies for scoring since January 1, 2014 with 38 points. Palat was also named NHL rookie of the month for March.
  3. The Lightning's power play unit has posted at least a goal in seven of their past nine games.
  4. Ryan Callahan has recorded four goals over his past four games and has picked up at least a point nine of 14 games as a Bolt.
