Sporting the classic two-front teeth missing hockey look, the Lightning’s twitter account shared a picture Friday of a young fan whose smile was similar to that of Bolts forward Nate Thompson.
Here’s the original tweet:
@TBLightning : “We have a mini @NateThompson44 on our hands RT @jr2417 He's excited he now looks like a hockey player”
Check out the picture of Thompson’s mini-me here.
Looks like the fifth-year member of Tampa Bay has some healthy competition for the best Lightning smile.
ERIN ANDREWS SHOUT OUT
Earlier this week the Lightning’s Instagram account shared a picture from a taping of one of the team’s featured roundtables.
Former Lightning reporter Erin Andrews saw the picture of Bobby “the Chief” Taylor, Dave Mishkin and Rick Peckham and immediately commented on the snapshot.

TRAINING CAMP EXCITEMENT ON TWITTER
It was refreshing to see Tampa Bay teammates so enthusiastic when talking to the media this week about the endless possibilities for the Bolts this season.
They also took to the Twitter boards too.
Head coach @CoopersLaw started the conversation by saying, “Game on!”
@AndrejSustr posted a picture of the “Welcome to Lightning Training Camp” message on the video board at the Times Forum along with saying, “Here we go!”
While prospect @Adamerne73 also reflected on Day 1: “Great first fay of @TBLightning main camp”
During training camp, the Tampa Bay Lightning will provide an interactive look at the team.
This Wednesday, the Bolts were broken down into an infographic that shows everything from how many players are at each position during camp, to who’s a draft pick, free agent, traded player, waivers claimed player and invitee, and where each camp-goer is from.
You can also take a visual tour of training camp here. The gallery shows the first on-ice practice held Thursday at Tampa Bay Times Forum.
