EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – As the Tampa Bay Lightning's leading scorers during the regular season, Martin St. Louis
and Vincent Lecavalier
could be regularly counted on to lift the team in close games. In the second contest of their first round match-up against the New Jersey Devils, the duo combined for a pair of goals to help overcome a one-goal deficit and lead the Lightning to a 3-2 victory.
In addition to getting markers by Lecavalier and St. Louis, forward Brad Richards paced the Lightning by dishing out two helpers in the contest. With the Devils holding home-ice advantage, the Lightning claimed the victory to send the quarterfinal series to Tampa Bay tied at one.
