Steve Downie set the Bolts record for fastest two goals by a single player. Downie scored on Penguins goalie Brent Johnson twice in 11 second to set the franchise record.

February 15, 1997 - Starting on the right foot
It only took Dino Ciccarelli 11 seconds to score on Capitals goalie Olaf Kolzig, setting a franchise mark for quickest goal to begin a game.
February 15, 2011 - The Florida Sports Hall of Fame calls Andreychuk
On this date, Dave Andreychuk was inducted into the Florida Sports Hall of Fame. In his four years with the Bolts, Andreychuk picked up 129 points in 278 and captained the Lightning to their only Stanley Cup victory.
February 17, 2009 - Another milestone in Stamkos' rookie season
Steven Stamkos scored all three goals in Tampa Bay's 5-3 loss to Chicago. The 19 year-old became the second youngest player in NHL history to record a natural hat trick and the first Lightning rookie to score three goals in a game.
