by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning

Team Filppula, led by two goals each by Brendan O'Donnell and Anthony DeAngelo, defeated Team Stamkos 5-1 in the championship game of the Lightning Development Camp 3-on-3 tournament on Sunday at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum.

O'Donnell scored his first of two goals less than a minute into the championship game. Saku Salminen scored four minutes into the first half to tie the game at one. At halftime, the game was tied but Team Filppula dominated the second half scoring four unanswered goals to take home the trophy.

2014 first-round draft pick Anthony DeAngelo scored the championship-winning goal with a wicked wrist-shot 30 seconds into the second half.

Team Filppula's team members were O'Donnell, DeAngelo, Jeff Costello, Brayden Point and Dylan Blujus.

Each player celebrated winning the trophy by lifting it over their heads like the Stanley Cup and kissing the trophy.

Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy won the goaltending part of the tournament and played in the championship game.
