Tampa Bay Sports to add interactive retail location at Tampa International Airport

TAMPA – Tampa Bay Sports & Entertainment and Stellar Partners, Inc. have come together to open a new, interactive Tampa Bay Sports retail location inside Tampa International Airport, the organizations announced today. The location is expected to be around 1,000-square feet and is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2017.

“We are extremely excited to bring our interactive Tampa Bay Sports retail concept to Tampa International Airport,” Tampa Bay Sports & Entertainment CEO Steve Griggs said. “Tampa Bay Sports will go beyond a typical retail location, bringing visitors closer to the game than they’ve ever been before. We are very pleased to not only provide fans and travelers alike with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, but also allow them to take a piece of the Tampa Bay sports landscape home with them. I would like to thank Stellar Partners and look forward to working with them on bringing this experience to the Bay Area.”

Tampa Bay Sports features a brick and mortar location at AMALIE Arena, as well as an online store ( As with the online store, the airport location will feature all of the latest, licensed merchandise from all local sports teams, including, but not limited to, the Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL), Tampa Bay Rays (MLB), USF Bulls (NCAA), Florida Gators (NCAA), Florida State Seminoles (NCAA), as well as from large-scale sporting events that take place in the region. This new location will also offer shoppers a full sports experience complete with video screens showing highlights, games and other content, as well as appearances by trophies, athletes and other sports personalities throughout the year. Additionally, travelers will be able to spend time immersing themselves in venues, events and live action through various virtual reality experiences.
