TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Lightning Foundation will hold the 16th annual Florida Hospital Bolt Run, presented by Dasani, benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the March of Dimes on Saturday, March 11 with the first race starting at 7:30 a.m. at AMALIE Arena. Each registered participant will receive a free ticket to a Lightning game or two tickets to a Tampa Bay Storm game. Participants may select a ticket for the Bolts' home game on March 11 vs. Florida or March 21 vs. Arizona. Game choice for tickets are first come, first serve and subject to availability.

The Bolt Run features three separate classifications of races which participants may enter. The five-mile and 5K races will each begin at 7:30 a.m. The one-mile race will feature a start time of 8:45 a.m. and will wrap up the day's festivities. All three races will begin and end at AMALIE Arena while the pre-event and post-event parties will be held on Ford Thunder Alley. Each participant will also receive a race t-shirt, finisher's award, pre- and post-race activities and a race goodie bag.

. Awards for the five-mile and 5K will be distributed to the top runners, male and female, in each age category. Every 5K and five-mile race participant will receive a finisher's medal and every one-mile participant will receive a finisher's ribbon.
Participants are encouraged to register early at

and to pick up their race packets prior to the day of the event. All runners can pick up their race packets on Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8 between 3-7 p.m. at AMALIE Arena.
