TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Lightning Foundation will hold the 19th annual Bolt Run, presented by AdventHealth, on Sunday, October 27 with the first race starting at 7:30 a.m. at AMALIE Arena. Participants can begin registering now at

Each registered participant will receive a free ticket to a select Lightning game. Participants will have the ability to select from a list of available Bolts home contests. Game choice for tickets is on a first come, first served basis and is subject to availability. A portion of each registration will be donated to benefit AdventHealth's Care 360 Program and its Care 360 Transportation Fund, designed to help patients successfully transition from the hospital to home or another care facility.
The Bolt Run features three separate classifications of races which participants may enter. The five-mile and 5K races will each begin at 7:30 a.m. The Family Fun Run will feature a start time of 7:45 a.m. and will wrap up the day's festivities. All three races will begin at AMALIE Arena, and for the second consecutive year, the races will finish inside AMALIE Arena. The pre-event and post-event parties will be held on Ford Thunder Alley. Each participant will also receive a race t-shirt, finisher's award and pre- and post-race activities.
The corporate challenge will be back again this year which will feature opportunities to win prizes. All corporate teams with 25 or more participants will receive special pricing, have their packets dropped off by a Lightning personality and in-game recognition. This year the corporate challenge will have incentives for the largest team including a photo inside the Lightning locker room.
Both the 5K and five-mile race feature chip timing and results that will be posted on the Lightning's official website within 24 hours of the conclusion of the race. Awards for the five-mile and 5K will be distributed to the top runners, male and female, in each age category. Every race participant will receive a finisher's medal.
Participants are encouraged to register early at

and to pick up their race packets prior to the day of the event. Packet pick-up location will be at International Plaza at Tampa Bay Sports at International Plaza on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25 from noon until 7 p.m.
