TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Remi Elie to a one-year, two-way contract today, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced.

Elie, 6-foot-1, 215 pounds, played in 28 games for the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League in 2020-21, recording 10 goals and 19 points. He led the Americans for goals and was tied for second for points. Elie has appeared in 208 career AHL games with Rochester and the Texas Stars, notching 42 goals and 92 points. He has also skated 26 career Calder Cup playoff games with Rochester and Texas and accumulated two goals with nine points.
The Cornwall, Ontario native has played in 106 career NHL games with the Dallas Stars and Buffalo Sabres, registering seven goals and 22 points.
Elie was drafted by Dallas in the second round, 40th overall, of the 2013 NHL Draft.
