by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning and OUR TEAM Network, LLC, a Tampa-based production company and syndicator of sports and community programming, have announced they will work in conjunction to provide coverage of the team’s High School Hockey Lightning Cup Tournament, to be held at the St. Pete Times Forum on February 28.

“We had an interest in supporting youth hockey and we were excited to hear about the Lightning’s commitment to this community,” Stephen Grecsek of OUR TEAM said.  “We look forward to partnering with the organization on this great event and showcasing these talented teams.”

The Lightning have agreed to grant access to the facilities and professional players involved in the instruction of youth hockey tournaments and subsequent clinics within the St. Pete Times Forum. Available footage from previous instructional sessions, tournaments and local high school games will also be provided, as well as guests for in-studio interviews.

In addition, the Lightning will promote OUR TEAM programming that features highlights from their clinics and events. OUR TEAM will produce and distribute in-studio segments with Brian Bradley during the Tampa Bay High School Sports Report to recap the tournament and promote upcoming clinics. The segments will air locally Wednesday night at 8 p.m. on 8Prime, digital channel 8.2, a subsidiary of WFLA-TV, and will air statewide on Sun Sports on Thursday at 5 p.m.
