Scoring first proved to be the kiss of death in this week's series against the Blackhawks in Chicago.
On Sunday, it was Tampa Bay who continued the trend, falling behind early, only to storm back and claim a 6-3 victory over Chicago on Sunday afternoon at the United Center.

The Bolts found themselves down by two after a pair of Blackhawks goals less than five minutes apart in the first period.
Philipp Kurashev opened the scoring midway through the period, taking a pass from Carl Soderberg down low and working his way across the crease before lifting a backhander over Andrei Vasilevskiy. Mattias Janmark scored on a power play at the 15:34 mark to double Chicago's lead, swatting Dominik Kubalik's elevated cross-crease feed out of midair and over the line.
The deficit grew to three early in the second period as Janmark threw a puck into the crease and Pius Suter managed to jam it through Vasilevskiy's five-hole.
Trailing by three, the Lightning put their ability to score in bunches on full display.
Ondrej Palat sniped his wrist shot top shelf on Kevin Lankinen in the opening seconds of Tampa Bay's first power play to get the Bolts on the board. Just 23 seconds later, Yanni Gourde followed up on his own rebound and slipped a shot past Lankinen at the near post to make it a one-goal game. Victor Hedman drew the Bolts even with a blast from the point on a power play three minutes later that got through a pair of screens in front of Lankinen.
A high, hard check from Connor Murphy on Erik Cernak resulted in a match penalty and five-minute major, giving the Lightning a chance to grab the lead. However, as good as Tampa Bay's power play had looked earlier in the period, the Bolts failed to generate anything offensively and ended up spoiling the final two minutes of the opportunity when Hedman got called for tripping.
The power play unit bounced back on its fourth chance of the period, with Gourde recording his second goal of the afternoon on a slapshot from above the left circle that put Tampa Bay up 4-3 heading to the third.
Alex Killorn gave Tampa Bay some insurance with just over five minutes remaining, beating Lankinen with a shot from the high slot. Pat Maroon added the Lightning's fourth power play goal of the afternoon in the closing minutes to round out the scoring.
With Jan Rutta missing a second-straight game, Andreas Borgman made his Lightning debut, taking the place of Luke Schenn on the blueline.
The check from Murphy ended Cernak's afternoon. The team announced during second intermission that the defenseman had sustained an upper-body injury and would not return.
Tampa Bay continues the road trip on Tuesday night against the Red Wings in Detroit.
