The Tampa Bay Lightning announced today that it has extended the terms of its sponsorship agreement with Tampa General Hospital. The deal is set to run through the 2012-13 regular season.
TGH is the official health care provider of the Lightning as well as the St. Pete Times Forum. It is also a benefactor of multiple fundraisers including in-game charity drawings and the Lightning’s annual Glitz & Sticks Celebrity Casino event. The partnership also highlights the expansion of the neo-natal unit at the TGH campus. In return, TGH will receive in-arena marketing and hospitality packages from the Lightning.
TGH is committed to providing the residents of West Central Florida with excellent and compassionate health care ranging from the simplest to the most complex medical services. As a teaching facility, it partners with academic and community institutions to support both their teaching and research missions. As the region’s leading safety net hospital, TGH reaffirms its commitment to providing high quality health services to all residents.
